About the Role:

LSQ Funding is seeking an exceptionally talented and motivated Director of Sales. We are seeking results-driven software and/or finance-technology sales executive responsible for driving and closing new business within the Mid-Market segment in the United States. 

The qualified candidates will possess a proven track record of enterprise solution selling, challenger sales mindset, and consistent quota achievement. The candidate will have relevant experience positioning and messaging value proposition to the corporate line of business, ideally with finance, procurement, supply-chain, account payable and treasury. 

You will be responsible for leading sales efforts within your assigned territory to identify, qualify, develop and close new customers. You will drive direct enterprise sales campaigns using a combination of your own network and leads generated from marketing, partners and analysts. 

The right individual will be an essential part of LSQ’s initial sales team, and must possess an ability to work creatively and autonomously in a rapidly growing environment.  The incumbent will have the ability to truly help shape the growth of our working capital and supply chain financing business.

This position will report to the EVP of Supply Chain Finance

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an actionable territory business plan that ensures attainment of assigned quarterly and annual targets

  • Employ effective sales techniques, in-depth discover and qualification and challenger sales methodology to navigate prospect expectations through the entire sales process

  • Understand LSQ’s capabilities and competitive landscape to position and message LSQ’s value proposition effectively and with unique differentiation

  • Prospect, develop and close prospective customers for LSQ’s working capital and credit management platform and solution suite

  • Create and deliver accurate forecasts and ensure CRM hygiene, accuracy and data integrity

  • Proactively ensure that the business relationships are maintained at all levels within prospect and customer organizations

  • Engage with customers, prospects, partners and analysts to assess market pain points and white space; relay pertinent information to the appropriate teams within LSQ

  • Work with other business stakeholders to develop convincing replies to RFI and RFP's. 

Requirements:

  • 8-10+ years experience selling business solutions to business executives, especially to Heads of Finance, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Treasury, particularly with  CFO and CPO

  • Proven and consistent successful track record of annual quota attainment to Mid-Market sized organizations ranging from $100m to $2B in revenue   

  • Strong professional business acumen and ability to communicate business value propositions to senior executives 

  • A strong understanding of the financial operational process within Mid-Market corporates

  • An expert in team and solution selling environments with strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, in addition to being flexible and quick thinking

  • Ability to lead business case development workshops, produce business case reports, and lead multi-stakeholder and executive interviews

  • Ability to build trust and credibility and manage complex contract negotiations

  • Ability to travel when required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical field
